About Bonn and Siegburg
Siegburg and Bonn are two cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. Siegburg is located to the east of Bonn and is known for its abbey and medieval townscape.
Siegburg Abbey is one of the oldest abbeys in the Rhineland and dates back to the 11th century. Here you can visit the impressive abbey church and the cloister. There are also many historical buildings in the centre of Siegburg, such as the LVR State Museum and the City Museum.
Bonn, the former capital of Germany, is located on the Rhine and is known for its culture and history. There are many sights here, such as the Beethoven House, Poppelsdorf Palace and the Old Town Hall. Bonn is also the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the world's most famous composers.
