Local patriotism
With the diligent support of the Sinzenich village community I was allowed to create eight information boards in my home village, with which walkers on the Mühlenbachpfad can learn all about the industrial history, the Mühlenbach, its flora and fauna and the former railway line that once ran through the village. The project was also sponsored by the Erftverband and the Tillmann paper mill, whose history is also featured on an information board. The circular route not only takes visitors past the Mühlenbach stream, but also passes buildings of cultural and historical interest such as Sinzenich Castle, where I have the pleasure of working.
The Mühlenbachpfad in Sinzenich allows you to immerse yourself in more than 2000 years of local history and takes you on a tour past the many sights of the village. It is the first section of the "Sinzenich natural history circular route" Another stage is already being planned. It will lead through the nature reserves on the edge of the village, which not only have unique flora and fauna, but also offer a wonderful view of the Adenau on the Nürburgring Börde from the hiking hut and a visit to the beautiful forest chapel on the Eulenberg.

The graphic realisation of a layout on a more complex surface such as a counter display is a challenge that I particularly enjoy because of the precision required and the demands on my spatial imagination.
Robot mower on the move
The team from Gartenwelt Frey from Dernbach is now on the road with its newly labelled Ford Transit to bring automatic robotic mowers to the man and woman!

In keeping with the motto "Business development introduces itself", the Economic development of the district of Düren offer interested companies and founders optimum support, advice and assistance with regard to setting up and maintaining their business. I had the honour of helping to give the dry world of figures in the economic development report an appealing appearance.

And again it's not "out into nature" but "into the net with nature"! The KNU's new website is modern and up-to-date and will hopefully attract many new interested parties and supporters ...
The District Association for Nature and Environmental Protection Euskirchen e.V. (KNU) was founded in Nettersheim-Marmagen in 1971. It is a member of the Landesgemeinschaft Naturschutz und Umwelt Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. (LNU) and is therefore a recognised nature conservation association. The KNU's activities are limited to the district of Euskirchen. The KNU is a non-profit organisation that works on a non-partisan basis. The KNU currently has four local working groups in the district of Euskirchen. The focus of the local working groups is based on local circumstances and personnel capacities and they carry out independent nature conservation work in the respective communities.
